Reel Collective Inc. is a Kentucky nonprofit corporation. We are committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who interacts with our website and programs. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Information we collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate our programs. This includes:

• Scholarship applicants — name, email address, university name, field of study, and year of enrollment, submitted through the script submission portal.
• Actor portal registrations — name, email address, headshot, and profile information including bio, skills, and physical attributes provided by the actor.
• Script submissions — script title, logline, synopsis, and any script files uploaded through the submission portal.
• Contact form submissions — name, email address, subject, and message content.

How we use your information

• Scholarship applications are used solely for scholarship evaluation and selection by the Reel Collective Inc. production team. This information is not used for any other purpose.
• Actor profiles are used for casting and production purposes. Profile information may be reviewed by Reel Collective staff and mentors involved in a given production.
• Script submissions are used for production selection purposes. Submitted materials are reviewed by the Reel Collective production team only.
• Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your inquiry.

How we protect your information

• All data is stored securely through Supabase, a SOC 2 compliant database platform. Access is restricted to authorized Reel Collective Inc. personnel only.
• We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes of any kind.
• Submitted scripts and written materials remain the intellectual property of the writer. Submission to Reel Collective Inc. does not transfer ownership or grant exclusive rights to the organization.

Communications

By submitting information through our website, you may receive follow-up communications related to your submission — such as a status update on your script or audition. You may opt out of future communications at any time by emailing info@reelcollective.org.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or programs following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
